Bloganuary 2023 #1: – What is something you want to achieve this year?

Published by

With the combination of bad weather, a generally busy time and some sizeable curveballs that have come my way in 2022 – I’ve not been able to visit the allotment that much and I plan on getting back onto the saddle as best I can this year, both with blogging and at the allotment.

To help spur me on – I’m doing the Bloganuary Challenge – which I’ve never done before and I’m looking forward to blogging consecutively for 30 days straight.

Bloganuary is a month-long blogging challenge in January, where you’ll receive a daily writing prompt to inspire you to publish a post on your blog. You can respond to the prompts in any way you like: a story, a picture, a poem, a drawing, a recipe, or even a song. Anything goes!

The first prompt for this year is – What is something you want to achieve this year?

Well, to answer that question – it just so happens that I’ve been invited to be a guest blogger for the J.Parker’s Dutch Bulbs Blog and have written a blog titled Allotment Goals for 2023.

I hope you find it useful and I’d love to hear what your allotment goals are for this year too! Maybe we can swap notes and incentives in the comments below.

I’ll end this short and sweet post by sending you all a happy new year and may it be bright and full!

Cheers – Nothing like starting the year with a gardening themed ale from one of my all time favourite breweries.

It is – I think I’ve failed miserably. Maybe I can claw it back!

Having an allotment is one of the most rewarding things you can do – it keeps you fit, you learn tonnes about gardening and you get to enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables that money can’t buy.

I hope to share hints, tips and gardening victories!
