I’ll always remember Roald Dahl, as a child I loved how there was a mischievous undertone – although at the time, I probably couldn’t articulate that.
In fact this question has given me a great idea, as a person who doesn’t read enough and needs to kick start their reading, I don’t think there’s any shame in starting with children’s books before progressing up to the hard stuff.
