Threads feels like the new kid on the block when it comes to social media.
What is Threads?
Facebooks answer to Twitter, but let’s get the Wikipedia version:
Threads is an online social media and social networking service operated by Meta Platforms. The app offers users the ability to post and share text, images, and videos, as well as interact with other users’ posts through replies, reposts, and likes.

I’m still getting to grips with Threads, and I’ve not long signed up to it. The thing I liked about it, is that you can import your Instagram profile into it, which saves heaps of time, as I’m following the same people.
As far as I know, they don’t provide an API, so I can’t automatically post to threads as I usually do like the others – but I’m sure the day will come.
Where to find me
Like all of the social media channels, it’s possible to find others via tags and so that’s where I think I’ll start. I’m going to be following #allotment and #GrowYourOwn to begin with.
If you’re there, let’s follow each other and connect! 🙂
