Here’s what a year (and a bit) of graft at an allotment can look like. 🙂
As I’ve been building new beds at the allotment, I’ve been documenting the whole process as best I can.
If you have an allotment, or if you’ve started one, then I would definitely recommend doing this as well – it’s great to look back and assess progress.
Avid readers out there will know that this blog isn’t just limited to what happens at the allotment – there’s recipes and a bit of travel thrown in as well 🙂 .
My first year was spent clearing junk and digging out raspberries. I also made a fairly good job of repairing a rotten shed. Year 2 will hopefully be more productive food wise. Good luck this coming year Adam.
Having an allotment is one of the most rewarding things you can do – it keeps you fit, you learn tonnes about gardening and you get to enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables that money can’t buy.
I hope to share hints, tips and gardening victories!
